BERLIN, January 13. /Dunyo IA/. The German publication “Hauptstadtecho” has published an article on the Address of the President of Uzbekistan to the Oliy Majlis and the nation, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
According to the publication, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s Address has been interpreted as a strategic document signalling Uzbekistan’s transition to a qualitatively new stage of development. The country’s GDP has risen from USD 60–65 billion in the mid-2010s to USD 145 billion, while the economy’s average growth rate has remained around 6 percent.
The author emphasizes that the Address serves as a practical strategic roadmap aimed at strengthening the nation’s long-term competitiveness, fostering internal consensus and building international confidence.
The Address highlights that stable employment and a reliable source of income for young people and residents of the regions who make up a significant part of the population - are key factors for social well-being. In this context, the measures outlined in the document to support small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as to develop industry and infrastructure, are seen as directly addressing these needs.
International organization particularly the UN Development Programme (UNDP) and the Asian Development Bank have also noted in their studies that employment-focused policies are among the most effective tools for ensuring social stability and strengthening trust within society.
“The Address of President Mirziyoyev serves not only as a practical programme for the next stage of reforms, but also as a strategic roadmap that enhances the country’s long-term competitiveness and reinforces the confidence of international partners” the German press concludes.
