Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan received the copies of credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador of Greece

TASHKENT, April 30. /Dunyo IA/. Yesterday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received the newly appointed Ambassador of Greece Paraskevi Tzeveleki, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

"Glad to receive the copies of credentials from the newly arrived Ambassador of Greece to Uzbekistan H.E. Paraskevi Tzeveleki, – the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram channel. – We welcome the opening of the Embassy of Greece in Tashkent and believe it will serve for the dynamic expansion of our partnership. During the meeting, we discussed prospects for enhancing political dialogue, deepening trade and economic ties, and expanding cultural and educational exchanges".
The Minister wished the new Ambassador of Greece a successful and fruitful tenure in Uzbekistan.
It is worth noting that diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and Greece were established on March 16, 1992. Career diplomat Paraskevi Tzeveleki succeeds Ekaterini Nassika, who had headed the diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan since 2021.
