TASHKENT, March 19. /"Dunyo" IA/. Yesterday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam Bui Thanh Son in Hanoi, reports a correspondent of the "Dunyo" news agency.

"Grateful to the Foreign Minister of Vietnam H.E. Bui Thanh Son for the warm welcome of our delegation today in Hanoi, – wrote the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan on his telegram channel. – We ensured that the Foreign Ministries of Uzbekistan and Vietnam are going to closely cooperate to realize the big untapped potential in our bilateral relations. Our meeting’s agenda was extensive and covered many topics. Among others, we see huge opportunities in economic diplomacy".

Let us recall that on March 18, the official visit to Vietnam commenced, led by Uzbekistan's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov. The delegation's itinerary encompasses a series of negotiations and meetings in Hanoi with key organizational leaders, alongside participation in the Uzbekistan-Vietnam business forum.
