Navruz Festival in Brno highlights Uzbek cultural traditions and fosters community unity

BRNO, March 28. /Dunyo IA/. A festive celebration of the national holiday Navruz took place at the Center for Legal Assistance to Foreigners in the Czech city of Brno, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The event was attended by representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan, the Association of Uzbek Students and compatriots living in the country.
Honorary guests included staff from the Center for Aid to Foreigners, international students studying in Brno and representatives from various companies, all of whom extended warm congratulations to the Uzbek people on the holiday.
The celebration program included the preparation of national dishes symbolizing spring, as well as traditional sweets and treats. During the gathering, compatriots discussed the spiritual significance of Navruz, national values and customs. For international guests, informational presentations on the history of the holiday were provided in both English and Czech.
The cultural part of the event was filled with national dances and games, ensuring a high-spirited and festive mood for all participants.
A significant highlight of the evening was the appointment of Guzal Genjebaeva, who played an active role in organizing the celebration, as the official representative of the Association of Uzbek Students in the city of Brno.
The celebration was held in a spirit of friendship, unity, and mutual respect, further strengthening the cohesion of Uzbeks living in the Czech Republic.
