On the margins of the Informal Meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States held in Istanbul, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye Hakan Fidan.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the situation in the Middle East and its regional implications.

The ministers emphasized the importance of resolving tensions through dialogue and diplomacy in the interest of ensuring peace and stability in the region.

The parties also confirmed their determination to fully implement all agreements reached during the 4th meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council held in January this year under the co-chairmanship of the Presidents of Uzbekistan and Türkiye.
