The Special Representative of the President of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan, Ismatulla Irgashev, held a meeting on June 26 with Professor Hassan Abbas of Near East South Asia Center for Strategic Studies, who is visiting our country within the framework of an international seminar on countering extremism and terrorism in Central and South Asia, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the MFA, during the conversation, the parties discussed the current situation in Afghanistan, prospects for regional stability, and potential areas of cooperation in the analytical field.

The importance of exchanging expert assessments was emphasized for effectively responding to emerging challenges and developing joint solutions.

As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to continue the dialogue and organize joint events to gain a deeper understanding of the evolving dynamics in the region.
