TASHKENT, March 10. /Dunyo IA/. Special Representative of the President of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan Ismatulla Irgashev held an online meeting with the Special Ambassador of the European Union for Afghanistan Gilles Bertrand, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the MFA of Uzbekistan, during the negotiations, current regional security issues, particularly the situation on the Afghan-Pakistani border, as well as prospects for deepening cooperation between Uzbekistan and the EU, were discussed.

The parties confirmed their mutual interest in continuing a systematic and constructive dialogue on regional security and cooperation issues and agreed to maintain regular consultations.
