DOHA, February 18. /Dunyo IA/. The delegation of Uzbekistan headed by First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhromjon Aloyev, visited Qatar, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the MFA, as part of the visit Bakhromjon Aloyev met with Fahad Al-Sulaiti, Director General of Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) and with Sheikh Nawaf bin Jabr Al-Thani, founder of Al Jabor Trading.

During the meetings, the prospects for expanding cooperation in the socio-economic and investment spheres, as well as possible areas for deepening interaction in the implementation of joint projects, were discussed.

Following the meetings, the sides confirmed their mutual interest in the further development of bilateral cooperation.

As previously reported, the 4th round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Qatar took place in Doha on February 16. The delegations were led by First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhromjon Aloyev, and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Qatar Sultan bin Saad bin Sultan Al Muraikhi.
