TASHKENT, June 27. /Dunyo IA/. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Olimjon Abdullaev held a meeting with the Minister for Migration of Sweden Johan Forssell, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the MFA, Johan Forssell highly appreciated the reforms being carried out by Uzbekistan and noted the positive dynamics in bilateral relations.

During the meeting, substantive negotiations were held on cooperation in the field of labor migration, the conclusion of an intergovernmental agreement on migration, mobility, and readmission, simplification of visa procedures, and combating illegal migration.

The parties expressed their readiness to strengthen partnership and implement joint projects.
