Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Visits Hospitality Academy in the UAE

ТASHKENT, December 13. /Dunyo IA/. Yesterday, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Olimjon Abdullayev, visited the Queen Elizabeth II Hospitality Academy in the United Arab Emirates, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
According to the information of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, the institution is Dubai’s first and only vocational training academy, preparing qualified personnel for the tourism sector.
Patrick Coodien, Director of the QE2 Academy, proposed establishing cooperation in training qualified specialists for cruise liners and hotels across the country.
The Academy also expressed interest in developing direct practical cooperation with Samarkand “Silk Road” University, Tashkent Tourism College, and the Migration Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers.
As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to draft a Memorandum of Understanding and to sign it in an online format.
