Photo exhibition "Youth Eyes on the Silk Roads" presented at UNESCO Headquarters

PARIS, June 19. /Dunyo IA/. As part of the Silk Road Program, a photo exhibition titled "Youth Eyes on the Silk Roads" was organized at UNESCO Headquarters, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The exhibition features 150 works by young people under the age of 25 who live in or have traveled through the regions along the Great Silk Road.

About 60 of the best photographs from the competition have been included in a professional photo album called "Youth Lens on the Silk Road." These will be showcased in exhibitions worldwide.
The exhibition, which runs until July 20 this year, includes works by both our compatriots and young foreign photographers who chose to present the culture, traditions, and customs of Uzbekistan as a demonstration of their photographic skills.
In particular, the façade of the UNESCO Secretariat building was decorated with works by Kamila Yadgarova, Hikmatulla Olimboev, Bekhzod Boltaev, Adel Hikmatova, Sabohat Bakhtiyarova, Shokhnazot Abdukasimova, Nodira Djuraeva, as well as Andrea Van Acker and others. Their photos depict the rich tangible and intangible cultural heritage, lifestyle, traditions, and unique architectural and historical monuments of Uzbekistan.
Given the central location of the UNESCO Secretariat building in Paris, the exhibition attracts the attention of the general public, city residents and visitors, as well as the international community and diplomatic missions.
UNESCO’s Silk Road Program promotes the study of history, the development of research and knowledge related to the network of land and maritime routes. The initiative is aimed at preserving cultural heritage and continuing cultural interaction along the Silk Road.
