TASHKENT, May 22. /Dunyo IA/. Today, the Joint-Stock Commercial Bank “Agrobank” organized a press conference for media representatives, reports Dunyo correspondent.

During the event, detailed information was presented on accelerating reforms in the banking system and expanding the volume of the services market. In particular, the large-scale reforms implemented by the bank, digital transformation processes and strategic objectives aimed at expanding the banking services market were highlighted.

At the event, it was noted that JSCB “Agrobank” has launched Escrow on a mobile platform for the first time in the country. Escrow is a service that ensures the safe execution of monetary and property transactions through a bank or a specialized financial organization.

The bank's specialists also reported on the introduction of the digital ecosystem “Agrozamin Super App”, designed to serve small and medium-sized businesses, corporate clients, farms and enterprises of the agro-industrial complex.

During the press conference, special attention was paid to the activities of the University of Digital Economics and Agrotechnologies (UDEA), established on the bank's initiative. This higher education institution implements joint educational programs in partnership with the British Coventry University, which is among the leading universities in the United Kingdom. Specifically, according to the curriculum, students can receive their education in Uzbekistan and earn a degree from the British university. Furthermore, the university provides for the education of talented students on a grant basis.

Also during the meeting, media representatives were informed about the work being carried out by JSCB “Agrobank” to transition to a new stage of digital transformation and measures to increase the convenience, speed, and transparency of financial services.
