According to the publication, Uzbek round flatbreads known as non, adorned with intricate swirls, patterns, and stamps, are traditionally baked in clay tandoor ovens.

CNN Travel reports that Uzbek non varies by region, ranging from the soft, chewy varieties of Tashkent to the distinct flatbreads of Samarkand. Freshly baked in traditional tandoors, these breads are promptly handed over to couriers who deliver the hot loaves to local markets and cafes.
