A view from Astana: Uzbekistan steadily consolidates its position as one of Central Asia’s leading economic hubs

ASTANA, June 22. /Dunyo IA/. Anuar Nurtazin, Economic Advisor to the Government and Parliament of Kazakhstan, shared his perspectives with Dunyo IA on the 5th Tashkent International Investment Forum, which was held in the capital of Uzbekistan on June 16–18:

- I followed the 5th Tashkent International Investment Forum with great interest. Today, Uzbekistan is confidently strengthening its position as one of the key economic hubs in Central Asia, creating favourable conditions for business, investments and the implementation of major international projects.

It is particularly encouraging that our friendly neighbour demonstrates sustainable economic growth, openness to international cooperation, and a strong commitment to adopting modern technologies and innovations. I am confident that the outcomes of the forum will contribute to attracting new investments, creating jobs, developing industry and infrastructure, as well as strengthening economic ties between the countries of the region.

Such events play a vital role in sharing expertise, forging new partnerships and promoting promising initiatives.
