WARSAW, June 15. /Dunyo IA/.  Polish electronic portal “Kurier Kolejowy” has published an article dedicated to the development of economic cooperation between Poland and Uzbekistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

It is reported that within the framework of the Uzbekistan–Poland Cooperation Forum held on June 10, an agreement was signed between the Poland–Asia Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Light Industry Development Agency of Uzbekistan.

The document is aimed at deepening trade, economic, and investment interaction, as well as creating sustainable mechanisms of cooperation between the business communities and government structures of the two countries.

The agreement provides for conducting educational programs, seminars, and business meetings, as well as developing professional competencies through the exchange of experience in the fields of industrial production, innovation, and sustainable development.

Furthermore, the parties intend to implement joint research and pilot projects, as well as organize business missions and networking events to establish new commercial contacts between the entrepreneurs of both nations. Particular attention is dedicated to facilitating companies' entry into new export markets and supporting their participation in international exhibitions and forums.

The document also provides for the expansion of technological cooperation, including the exchange of know-how in manufacturing, quality control, and the implementation of innovations. Collaboration with industry associations, including the “Uztextileprom” Association, is planned.

According to the publication, the signed memorandum will be an important step toward the further expansion of practical cooperation between the business circles of Uzbekistan and Poland.
