Attitude from Moscow: Rising popularity of TIIF reflects the growing overall investment attractiveness of the economy of Uzbekistan

MOSCOW, June 21. /Dunyo IA/.  Alexander Vorobyov, Head of the Center for Public Diplomacy and World Policy Analysis and expert at the Russian International Affairs Council, shared his perspective with Dunyo IA regarding the 5th Tashkent International Investment Forum, held in the capital of Uzbekistan from June 16th to 18th:

-  Tashkent International Investment Forum is becoming an increasingly influential economic and multi-dimensional platform with each passing year. On one hand, this is due to the significant attention that the authorities of Uzbekistan dedicate to this event.

On the other hand, the growing popularity of the forum reflects the ongoing process of enhancing the overall investment attractiveness of the Uzbek economy, as well as the trend toward its further expansion.

The work of the forum this year also demonstrates a broad geographic reach of international economic delegations, including the European vector. The interest from the Russian side has also intensified, as evidenced by the presence of a Russian delegation led by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
