PARIS, October 19. /IA "Dunyo"/. Journalist of the leading French publication "l’Opinion" Claude Leblanc commented for "Dunyo" information agency on the results of the participation of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev in the events of the 3rd International Forum "One Belt, One Road" held in Beijing:

- The event aroused noticeable interest among representatives of French expert and analytical circles. Participation in such events indicates the high interest of the Uzbek leader in developing and strengthening strong ties with China, in creating additional conditions for strengthening trade and economic cooperation and transport and communication interconnectivity, promoting green development and digitalization programs.
In the context of ongoing geopolitical tension in the world, as well as an unstable economic situation, intensifying cooperation in the investment, trade and logistics fields is the key to prosperity and security not only for Uzbekistan, but also for the entire Central Asia.
It is gratifying to see that relations between Uzbekistan and China are adequately surviving the changes in the current international situation, and despite the existing difficulties, they are demonstrating positive development dynamics and are being replenished with new practical content in accordance with the demands of the time on the basis of equality and mutual respect.
I am confident that the agreements reached during the visit of the President of Uzbekistan to China will contribute to bringing Uzbek-Chinese relations to a qualitatively new high level, will serve as a solid basis for strengthening relations of trust and partnership and will undoubtedly become a reliable drive for further increasing the volume of mutual trade and cooperation in transport and investment spheres, industrial cooperation, e-commerce, taking into account the long-term interests of the two countries.
