MADRID, September 17. /Dunyo IA/. President of the Paneuropean Union in Spain, Professor Carlos Uriarte Sánchez, commented for Dunyo IA on the outcomes of the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan to South Korea, which took place on September 13–16th:
- I believe that the high-level talks held in Seoul and the agreements reached as a result are of significant importance for further strengthening the Uzbek-South Korean special strategic partnership.
I would like to particularly emphasize the high level of political trust and mutual respect that bind Uzbekistan and South Korea. I am confident that it is on this solid foundation that new areas of strategic interaction are being formed today, meeting the long-term interests of the two states.
I attach particular importance to the initiative to form an innovative and technological alliance based on advanced South Korean technologies and the industrial potential of New Uzbekistan.
I am convinced that the dynamic development of Uzbek-South Korean relations is of interest not only to the peoples of the two countries but also to the international community as a whole. Uzbekistan's successful experience in expanding international partnership, attracting investment and developing modern technologies deserves high appreciation.
I also highly appreciate the attention paid during the visit to the role of the Korean diaspora in Uzbekistan. I am confident that it will continue to serve as an important link between the two countries and peoples, strengthening mutual trust and understanding.
I am convinced that the agreements reached will receive consistent practical implementation, and the Uzbek-South Korean special strategic partnership will reach a new, even higher level.
