NOVOSIBIRSK, September 17. /Dunyo IA/.   General Consulate of Uzbekistan in Novosibirsk, in cooperation with the representative office of the Migration Agency, organized a series of field meetings with compatriots engaged in labour activities, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

In particular, diplomats and agency representatives met with compatriots working at the “Svetofor” retail market, as well as with citizens employed in one of the city's housing and communal services organizations.

During the meetings, detailed consultations on all matters of consular and legal assistance were conducted for the compatriots. Informational leaflets containing the addresses of diplomatic missions and contact numbers of call centers were distributed to the citizens.

Diplomats paid special attention to the protection of the labour rights of fellow citizens, particularly the issue of timely payment of wages by employers. In cases of unjustified delays in payments, citizens were advised to immediately contact the Migration Agency for the prompt resolution of emerging issues.

At the conclusion of the meetings, the readiness of the General Consulate to continue providing comprehensive assistance to compatriots, both in processing the necessary documents and in protecting their rights and legitimate interests in the territory of Russia, was emphasized.
