OSH, May 16. /Dunyo IA/. On May 13–14, intellectual games "Zakovat" were held in Osh between teams of scientists from Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent of.

The event was attended by representatives of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Osh, Chairman of the Osh City Council of People’s Deputies Bolotbek Talaybekovich, head of Imzo Kedzhi LLC and entrepreneur Sukhbatilla Miraev, president of the Zakovat Club Abdurasul Abdullaev, a team of 11 intellectuals, members of the Kyrgyz club "Bilemermen Ordo," as well as compatriots and Uzbek students studying at Kyrgyz universities.

The two-day intellectual games, organized to develop cooperation in science and further strengthen the historical friendship and close neighborly ties between the Uzbek and Kyrgyz peoples, saw the teams compete in "Zakovat" and "Brain-Ring" games.

Speakers at the opening noted that the "Zakovat" games are popular not only in Uzbekistan but throughout Central Asia. They also emphasized that thanks to the attention of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the educational level of youth is steadily increasing every year.

During the games, participants demonstrated logical thinking, teamwork, and creative problem-solving skills. Scientists from both countries took an active part in the games, which were full of excitement and lively discussions, held in a friendly atmosphere.

Interestingly, to ensure equal opportunities, questions were read out in Uzbek and Kyrgyz languages respectively. Uzbek scholars easily understood the questions in Kyrgyz, and Kyrgyz scholars likewise understood those in Uzbek.

As a result of the competition, the team of Uzbekistan intellectuals won the victory. Winners and active participants were awarded diplomas and commemorative gifts.

Kyrgyz scientists were also presented with a set of books containing a collection of questions prepared by the "Zakovat" club.
