In his welcoming speech, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to France, Nodir Ganiev, congratulated the compatriots and foreign guests on the occasion of Navruz, a holiday symbolizing the arrival of spring, the renewal of nature, generosity, the desire for creation, and mutual understanding among peoples. He noted that during the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to France in March of this year, a joint Declaration was adopted on the establishment of strategic partnership between the two countries, and agreements were reached to enhance cooperation in areas such as economy, energy, education, medicine, and culture. The Ambassador emphasized that the compatriots in France, with their active life position and patriotism, are also making a worthy contribution to the prosperity of Uzbekistan.
The event also featured a charity auction, with all proceeds going to help children with cancer in Uzbekistan.
