DOHA, April 9. /Dunyo IA/. A festive event was held at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Qatar in celebration of Navruz, with the participation of our fellow citizens, reports the correspondent of Dunyo IA.

Around 100 of our compatriots, along with their families, and representatives from several local media outlets attended the event. During the official ceremony, the Embassy’s leadership congratulated the participants on the occasion of Navruz and the holy Ramadan Eid, emphasizing the importance of actively celebrating such national holidays and traditions in Qatar.

Speakers provided detailed information about the reforms taking place under the leadership of our country, the friendly and open policy with foreign countries, particularly the development of strategic partnership with Qatar.

Information was also shared on the direct assistance provided to our citizens living abroad within the framework of the ongoing reforms in our country, specifically consular support in addressing issues that may arise during their employment abroad.

Participants expressed gratitude to the leadership of Uzbekistan for the opening of the Embassy in Doha and the close support provided by this mission to our citizens.

The event featured traditional Navruz children’s games and competitions, as well as a spread with national dishes such as sumalak, chak-chak, and pilaf.
