GUANGZHOU, April 4. /Dunyo IA/. The Consulate General of Uzbekistan has conducted a series of events in the Chinese city of Huizhou, Guangdong Province, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During a meeting with the municipal authorities of the city, the Foreign Affairs Department, and the Bureau of the Committee for the Promotion of Foreign Trade, the prospects for further development of cooperation between the regions of Uzbekistan and Huizhou were discussed.

Particular attention was given to the importance of intensifying mutual visits and exchanges, as well as implementing joint events and projects.

As part of the visit, a business forum titled "Regions of Uzbekistan - Huizhou: Investment, Trade, and Tourism Cooperation" was held, featuring leading companies operating in the region.

Participants were provided with detailed information on Uzbekistan's economic and tourism potential, opportunities created for foreign investors, including the operations of free economic zones, tax, customs, and other benefits in these zones, as well as new promising investment projects.

Representatives of the Chinese business community expressed interest in collaborating with Uzbekistan in the fields of construction materials manufacturing, home goods and household appliances, textile industry, and cosmetic products.
