NUKUS, May 1. /Dunyo IA/. The General Consulate of Uzbekistan in Guangzhou, in collaboration with the administration of the Nukus district, organized a visit to Karakalpakstan for a business delegation from China’s Guangdong province, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Earlier, in March 2025, during the visit of the Nukus district administration delegation to Guangdong, several agreements were made regarding the establishment of industrial productions and the strengthening of cooperative ties between business representatives.

Chinese entrepreneurs arrived in Nukus to discuss specific projects and explore the region’s available opportunities.

The delegation included representatives from companies such as "Guangzhou Fangchuan Lubricants Technology", "Dongguan Yaosheng", "Guangdong Weilian Wire and Cable", "Zhujinag Cable", "Opit Intelligent Equipment", "Ouyate Electric Products", "Dongguan Electronic Technology", "Hengyu Wisdom Technology", and others. They met with representatives of local administrations and business circles in Karakalpakstan and simultaneously familiarized themselves with the region's raw material base and opportunities.

As a result of the talks, the parties reached preliminary agreements on the development and joint implementation of investment projects in areas such as electrical engineering, smart agriculture, the textile industry, energy, and other sectors.
