ISLAMABAD, November 4. /Dunyo IA/. Ambassador of Uzbekistan Alisher Tukhtaev met with the Chief Executive Officer of the Pakistani development company “IMARAT Group” Akbar Shafiq, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

During the meeting, Uzbek side presented the concept of “New Tashkent” and provided information on the incentives and support mechanisms designated for foreign investors.

The sides discussed the potential participation of “IMARAT Group” in the establishment of a multifunctional complex, which may include modern residential quarters, “Grade A” office buildings, retail and restaurant facilities, hotels, conference centers and public spaces.

Special consideration was given to the application of digital technologies in the real estate sector. In particular, the company may explore opportunities not only for the construction of facilities but also for their management, sales organization, “Facility management”, digital customer services and the implementation of PropTech solutions.

CEO Akbar Shafiq expressed interest in the project and noted that Uzbekistan's achievements in urban construction are of great interest to the company.

“We are convinced that the “New Tashkent” project will become one of the landmark projects shaping the development of Uzbekistan. Therefore, we are interested in participating in this mega-project”, he stated, proposing to first visit the country to familiarize themselves with the construction plans in detail.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to organize a visit of the “IMARAT Group” delegation to Uzbekistan. The next phase will involve the formation of a specific investment concept based on preliminary discussions.

“IMARAT Group” is one of Pakistan's major corporate groups in the real estate, development, and construction sectors. Its operations integrate architecture and design, hospitality, manufacturing of building materials, property sales and management, as well as digital technologies. In Pakistan, the company implements projects for multifunctional complexes, residential buildings, shopping malls, hotels, offices and other commercial facilities.
