WARSAW, July 20. /Dunyo IA/.    Embassy of Uzbekistan in Poland hosted a “roundtable” discussion dedicated to the development of trade, economic and investment ties between the two nations, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology of Poland, Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH), National Chamber of Commerce, Poland-Asia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and various business entities.

Parties reviewed the outcomes of bilateral cooperation for the first half of 2026 and outlined plans for the further expansion of engagement. Special emphasis was placed on implementing the agreements reached during the visits of Uzbek business delegations to Warsaw in June and July 2026.

Participants highlighted the strong potential for joint projects in industrial cooperation, agricultural processing, electrical engineering, pharmaceuticals, building materials, textiles, digital technologies, e-commerce, logistics and transportation.

Following the meeting, parties agreed to consider the participation of Uzbekistan's representatives in the “Future Mining Forum & Expo” international forum in Katowice in September 2026, to organize a business mission of the National Chamber of Commerce to Uzbekistan in October, and to prepare for the next session of the Uzbek-Polish Intergovernmental Commission in 2027.

Participants emphasized that Uzbekistan and Poland possess the potential to serve as strategic partners, with Poland acting as Uzbekistan’s gateway to European markets and Uzbekistan serving as a hub for Polish business in Central Asia.

Parties also agreed to expand the participation of companies from both nations in international exhibitions, cultivate direct business contacts and attract Polish enterprises to investment projects in Uzbekistan.
