WARSAW, September 28. /Dunyo IA/.  Diplomats of Uzbekistan in Poland visited the Łódź Voivodeship and met with the leadership of the region, town of Rzgów and the “Ptak Fashion City” commercial center, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Primary focus was placed on establishing a direct partnership between the Łódź Voivodeship and the textile-producing regions of Uzbekistan, particularly the Fergana Region, as well as increasing the export of Uzbek products to the European market.

During the meetings, historical significance of Łódź as one of the centers of European light industry was noted. Against the backdrop of rising labour and energy costs in Europe, the parties discussed opportunities for supplying competitive and high-quality ready-made textile products from Uzbekistan to strengthen the region's position in the European market.

Polish side expressed particular interest in the proposal to develop such supplies on a systematic basis.

One of the practical outcomes of the meetings was a preliminary agreement between the “Saodat Sanoat Servis LLC” enterprise from the Namangan Region and Polish companies for the production and export of women's clothing under a Polish brand.

Parties also noted the successful experience of Uzbek brands “Imir”, “Aisha Home”, “Bombacio” and “Empire Textile”, which are already operating in the Polish market and agreed to expand cooperation with them.

For the further development of business contacts, extensive participation of entrepreneurs from the Fergana Region is scheduled in the international exhibitions “Warsaw Home Textile 2026”, to be held on October 21–24^th and “Fast Textile 2026” on November 17–19^th.

Within the framework of these events, it is planned to hold a major joint business forum with the participation of representatives from the textile industries of both countries.

Furthermore, a large delegation of Polish light industry representatives led by the management of “Ptak Fashion City” will arrive in Uzbekistan on October 11–15^th.

Polish delegation will participate in the international exhibition “Heimtextil Uzbekistan” and hold negotiations with local enterprises regarding new investment and export projects.
