ABU DHABI, July 29. /Dunyo IA/. Ambassador of Uzbekistan Umid Shadiev, met with the leadership of “Mubadala Investment Company”, one of the leading sovereign wealth funds in the United Arab Emirates, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the current state and prospects for the further expansion of investment cooperation between Uzbekistan and the UAE.

Parties particularly emphasized the steady development of bilateral relations based on mutual trust and strategic partnership.

Within the framework of the negotiations, the issues of deepening investment cooperation in priority sectors of the economy, exploring opportunities for the implementation of new promising projects and maintaining a regular dialogue in these areas were discussed.

Following the talks, the sides agreed to continue the joint development of investment projects and the consistent advancement of practical cooperation. Furthermore, an agreement was reached to organize a visit of representatives from the “Mubadala Investment Company” to our country.
