ZAAMIN, April 22. /Dunyo IA/. International business forum "Jizzakh - 2025" will be held in Zaamin district of the region on April 23-24, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The event is organized jointly by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and the Khokimiyat of Jizzakh region.

More than 200 heads of companies from more than 30 leading partner countries have been invited to the forum through our country's diplomatic missions abroad. Representatives of the diplomatic corps in Tashkent are also expected to actively participate.

It is noteworthy that recent years have seen stable economic growth, thanks to the open and consistent investment policy pursued in our country. In 2024, GDP of our country grew by 6.5%, reaching 115 billion dollar. Foreign investment has increased 1.6 times, totaling nearly 35 billion dollar. Additionally, 242 large and medium-sized projects worth 10 billion dollar have been realized, and export volume has reached a record $27 billion dollar.

The forum will include presentations for foreign participants about investment, trade, economic and tourism potential of Jizzakh region.

The business forum is expected to demonstrate Jizzakh region's advantages, including vast raw material reserves, strong logistics infrastructure, rich natural resources, a growing tourism sector, and skilled human capital. It will also strengthen investment, trade, and economic ties with foreign partners while opening new opportunities for entrepreneurs.
