“Agrobank” is set to enhance its services based on international best practices and establish a new management framework by expanding digital solutions

• 406TASHKENT, April 20. /Dunyo IA/. A press conference for media professionals was organized by the Joint-Stock Commercial Bank “Agrobank”, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
During the conference, bank officials provided detailed insights into the essence and significance of the Presidential Resolution “On measures to introduce modern technologies in agriculture”, as well as the priority tasks aimed at ensuring its effective implementation.
It was emphasized that this resolution serves as a pivotal document aimed at integrating modern technologies, enhancing service quality and fundamentally transforming the agricultural sector. Furthermore, the bank intends to establish a new management system by evolving its services based on international best practices and scaling up digital solutions.
In accordance with the resolution, ambitious targets have been set for Agrobank for 2026. Specifically, the bank plans to mobilize an additional 25 trillion soums in financial resources, including attracting USD 600 million from foreign sources and 18 trillion soums from domestic markets.
Additionally, agriservice zones will be established in every region. These zones will provide farmers not only with financial services but also with comprehensive support, including agronomic consulting, soil analysis, water- and energy-saving technologies, and seedling supply.
It was noted during the event that particular emphasis is being placed on education and capacity building in agriculture. Plans include training 10,000 farmers annually through the “School of Water Specialists” (Suvchilar Maktabi) and expanding knowledge via the “Farmers' School” online platform.
Within the framework of digitalization, the bank is introducing advanced solutions, including a dedicated Agro-Monitoring Hub. This facility will facilitate satellite monitoring of fields, predictive analytics for crop yields, and ensure the effective deployment of financial resources.
Pilot projects are already being implemented in selected regions. For instance, artificial intelligence-driven solutions are currently being tested in the horticulture sector of the Jizzakh region and the livestock sector of the Syrdarya region.
To support innovation, the “Agro Ventures” company was established under the auspices of Agrobank. This entity will focus on financing and implementing pioneering ideas.
