SHENZHEN, April 7. /Dunyo IA/. Consulate General of Uzbekistan, in cooperation with compatriots studying at higher education institutions in Guangdong Province, organized a national stand as part of the “International Culture Day” festival held in Shenzhen, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The event featured participation from representatives of over 20 countries, including Uzbekistan, Russia, Germany, Georgia, Brazil, Japan, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Mexico.

The participants and guests were presented with the rich cultural and historical heritage and tourism potential of our country. Specifically, “Uzbekistan” stand, designed in a national style and adorned with folk crafts, applied arts, traditional confectionery, an assortment of dried fruits and national dishes, became one of the most attractive, informative, and visited exhibits at the festival.

Furthermore, the performance of the Uzbek national dance by our compatriots captivated the audience and contributed to a further increase in interest toward our traditional performing arts.
