MADRID, April 15. /Dunyo IA/. A major cultural event—the premiere of the feature film “The Great Amir and Donna Maria”—will take place on April 23 in the Spanish capital, Dunyo IA correspondent reports.
The premiere will be held at a modern cinema located within the cultural and entertainment complex Palacio de Hielo, one of the well-known venues in Madrid.
The event is organized with the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Spain in cooperation with the Uzbekistan Cinematography Agency. Significant support for the project is also provided by Casa Asia, an influential institution promoting dialogue between Spain and Asian countries.
The audience can expect not merely a film screening, but a comprehensive cultural event bringing together history, art, and international cooperation. The film explores the image of a great ruler, his era, and legacy, appealing to both experts and a wide audience.
The film was produced by order of the Cinematography Agency at the Uzbekfilm studio in cooperation with the Turkish film company Kanguru. It presents previously little-known and instructive episodes from the life and legacy of Amir Temur.
The screenplay was written by renowned writer Khayriddin Sultan, while the film is directed by Yolkin Tuychiev. According to the creators, the film features a complex narrative, an original interpretation of the subject, and a blend of historical and contemporary elements, enriched by strong dramaturgy and visual expressiveness.
Organizers note that the premiere will serve as an important step in promoting Uzbekistan’s rich historical and cultural heritage on the international stage.
As previously reported, the film “The Great Amir and Donna Maria” will also be presented to the British public on April 27 at the Regent Street Cinema, one of London’s most prestigious and historic cinemas.
