Tashkent praised by Azerbaijani Media for tourism appeal and safety

BAKU, January 20. /Dunyo IA/. Articles focusing on the development of tourism in Uzbekistan and the safety level of the country’s capital - Tashkent, have been published on “Dunyainfo.net”, a popular Azerbaijani news and analytical platform, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The publication on the tourism sector notes that Uzbekistan considers tourism a priority area for economic development. According to the data presented, by 2030 the country plans to significantly increase the sector’s contribution to GDP, boost the flow of foreign tourists and expand tourism exports. The report emphasizes that these goals will be achieved through investment attraction, improving the quality of tourist services and creating new employment opportunities.
In an article titled “Tashkent is the safest city in Central Asia” attention is focused on the city’s level of safety. Citing the international analytical portal “Numbeo”, the report notes that Tashkent ranks among the leading cities in Central Asia and the CIS, placing within the top 100 safest cities in the world. The authors emphasize that the city’s high rating is due not only to a low crime rate, but also to the effective work of law enforcement agencies, the development of urban infrastructure and the positive perception of safety among residents and tourists.
