CAIRO, September 6. /Dunyo IA/.  Analytical articles dedicated to strengthening multifaceted partnership between Uzbekistan and Serbia in the areas of ecology, environmental protection, science, education and culture have been published by prominent Egyptian media outlets, “Sada Elbalad English” and “Eldameer”, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

In particular, an article published by “Sada Elbalad English” highlights the active development of environmental dialogue, with an important milestone being the participation of a Serbian delegation led by Minister of Environmental Protection Sara Pavkov in the Eighth Assembly of the Global Environment Facility in Samarkand and the “Eco Expo Central Asia 2026” exhibition. The article notes the prospects for exchanging experience in forestry, where Serbia has increased its forest cover to 37 percent, as well as in biodiversity conservation and the development of academic ties between leading Serbian universities and the Central Asian University of Environmental and Climate Change Studies “Green University”. In addition, the two sides are preparing to hold the “Eco Expo Central Asia 2027” exhibition in Tashkent.

In an article published by “Eldameer”, considerable attention is devoted to the humanitarian and cultural dimension of bilateral relations, as outlined in an article by Uzbekistan’s Minister of Culture Ozodbek Nazarbekov. The publication highlights the historic significance of the high-level talks between President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić, as well as the agreements signed, including the partnership between the cities of Tashkent and Belgrade. Of particular interest is the preparation for the implementation of the joint film project “From Al-Khwarizmi to Tesla”, symbolizing the contribution of the two nations to world science and civilization. Authors emphasize the importance of museum exchanges, literary translations and the systematic organization of Days of Culture in bringing the two peoples closer together.
