BELGRADE, September 5. /Dunyo IA/. Serbian publication “Republika” has published an analytical article on the rapidly developing strategic partnership between Serbia and Uzbekistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The publication notes that a key impetus for closer ties between the two countries was the visit of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić to Uzbekistan, which coincided with the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Particular attention is given to the practical implementation of technological agreements in IT, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. The publication outlines a promising “front office in Serbia – back office in Uzbekistan” model of cooperation, bringing together Belgrade’s European business connections with Tashkent’s growing talent pool and IT infrastructure. This potential is further supported by the growth of Uzbekistan’s digital services exports.

The article also highlights the establishment of a new system of regulated labor migration and human capital development. The publication reports on the direct recruitment of specialists by Serbian companies, their language and professional training in Uzbekistan, as well as Serbia’s introduction of electronic visas, which are expected to elevate bilateral relations to the level of a long-term strategic partnership.
