BRUSSELS, June 11. /Dunyo IA/. Belgian online publication “EU Reflect” has published an article dedicated to the role of the Tashkent International Investment Forum (TIIF-2026) as one of Central Asia's leading investment platforms and a vital tool for promoting international economic cooperation, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The publication notes that the 5th Tashkent International Investment Forum will take place in the capital of Uzbekistan from June 16th to 18th, gathering heads of state, representatives of international financial institutions, major corporations, investment funds and business circles from around the world.
The article emphasizes that in recent years, the forum has evolved into a key platform for discussing regional development prospects, attracting investment, and expanding trade and economic interaction. Particular attention is paid to the fact that Uzbekistan is consistently strengthening its position as a regional investment hub by creating favorable conditions for doing business and implementing large-scale projects.
According to the publication, the results of the previous forum demonstrated a high level of international community confidence in the reforms being carried out in the country. It notes that more than 8,000 delegates from 97 countries participated in TIIF-2025, and the total volume of signed investment agreements reached 30.5 billion dollars.
The article notes that the practical value of the forum lies in providing direct access to representatives of government agencies, international financial organizations, sovereign wealth funds, and global business. Thanks to this, the forum contributes to the development of specific investment decisions, the development of partnership ties, and the launch of new joint projects.
The publication also cites the opinions of foreign experts who view the Tashkent International Investment Forum as an important factor in strengthening economic integration, developing interregional cooperation, and expanding investment opportunities in Central Asia.
Summarizing, “EU Reflect” writes that TIIF-2026 will be another step toward further increasing the investment attractiveness of Uzbekistan, strengthening its role in the international investment architecture, and expanding interaction with global capital markets.
