“Financial Digital News”: Growth of Uzbekistan’s export potential driven by expansion of foreign economic relations

ISLAMABAD, July 20. /Dunyo IA/.  Pakistani online publication “Financia Digital News” reported on the growth of Uzbekistan's export indicators, highlighting the expansion of the country's presence in international markets, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to data from the Statistics Agency under the President of Uzbekistan, the country's export volume for January-May 2026 reached 12.6 billion USD. Publication notes that this figure reflects the strengthening of Uzbekistan's trade ties with key regional and global markets.

Russian Federation emerged as Uzbekistan's largest export market, with product supplies reaching 1.9 billion USD during the first five months of the year. China ranked second, with export volumes to the country reaching 1.2 billion USD.

France, Kazakhstan and Türkiye were also highlighted among other vital destinations. From January to May, Uzbekistan exported goods valued at 626.2 million USD to France, 573.7 million USD to Kazakhstan and 500.8 million USD to Türkiye.

Publication underscores that the diversification of export markets enables Uzbekistan to expand access to international trade, strengthen regional cooperation and mitigate dependence on a limited number of trading partners.

According to analysts, the growth of the country's export potential is driven by the expansion of foreign economic ties, the development of logistics infrastructure and sustained demand for Uzbek products on global markets.
