“Tatar-inform” IA: Tashkent to host CAITME 2026 International Textile Machinery Exhibition

KAZAN, August 28. /Dunyo IA/. The 17th Central Asian International Textile Machinery Exhibition CAITME 2026 will be held in Tashkent on September 8–10th. It will open the traditional “Global Textile Days” Week, reports Dunyo IA correspondent, citing with the “Tatar-inform” Information Agency.
Around 250 companies and brands from 17 countries are expected to participate in the exhibition. Germany will be represented within the framework of the National Pavilion. Manufacturers and suppliers from Austria, India, Italy, China, Türkiye, the United States, Switzerland and other countries are also expected to take part.
CAITME is regarded as one of the key industry events in Central Asia and, according to an independent audit, the largest specialised exhibition of textile machinery of its kind in the CIS countries. The exhibition is focused on modernising enterprises, adopting advanced technologies and increasing the productivity of the region’s textile and garment industry.
Exhibition will feature equipment and technological solutions from leading global manufacturers from Europe and Asia. Participants will include Rieter, Uster, Toyota, Muratec, Truetzschler, Saurer, Picanol, Karl Mayer, Staubli, Itema, Epson, Brückner, Groz-Beckert and other companies.
A separate highlight of the exhibition will be the “TextileExpo Uzbekistan Sourcing Hub” Project, which will take place on September 9th. For the first time in Uzbekistan, textile product manufacturers and buyers from retail chains, factories and specialised companies will be able to conduct direct B2B negotiations in a digital format using Artificial Intelligence. Uzbekistan will also be represented at the exhibition by leading enterprises of the industry.
