TASHKENT, August 28. /Dunyo IA/. First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhromjon Aloev met with Tareq Yousef Al Shumaimry, founder and editor-in-chief of The Times Kuwait, who is currently visiting Uzbekistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The meeting focused on opportunities for joint and comprehensive coverage of the results of the consistent reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan in recent years, the implementation of agreements reached during high-level mutual visits, and further expansion of cooperation in the information sphere.

Particular attention was paid to prospects for strengthening cooperation between the Dunyo Information Agency and The Times Kuwait.

The sides also discussed promoting the image of both countries in the international information space and providing English- and Arabic-speaking audiences with information about Uzbekistan’s strengthening ties with the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council, as well as the country’s rich historical heritage and its trade, economic, investment, export and tourism potential.
