Nagoya City Government Publishes Videos Featuring Uzbek Athletes at Asian Games

NAGOYA, October 10. /Dunyo IA/. The city government of Nagoya, Japan, has published videos on social media featuring Uzbek athletes who participated in the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
One of the videos shows a meeting between Uzbekistan’s national judo team and pupils from Nagoya’s elementary schools. The children had an opportunity to interact with the athletes, learn about their sporting experiences and ask questions about their lives.
The initiative formed part of the humanitarian and intercity ties between Tashkent and Nagoya, highlighting the development of friendship and mutual exchange between the two cities.
Cooperation between Tashkent and Nagoya was formalized on December 18, 2019, when the two cities signed an agreement on tourism and cultural exchanges during the official visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Japan.
