COPENHAGEN, September 23. /Dunyo IA/. The 7^th International Festival of Traditional Textiles “Atlas Bayrami” (“Atlas Festival”) was held in the city of Margilan and was attended by the renowned Danish journalist Nana Balle, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Festival brought together artisans, designers, textile industry specialists, researchers, journalists, and cultural figures from various countries.

Nana Balle actively shared her impressions of the trip on social media networks, publishing photographs and video materials. According to her, festival proved to be even more interesting and vibrant than she had anticipated.

“Observing fashion shows in Fergana, visiting local markets, and experiencing the city's atmosphere and the products of artisans generated great interest for me”, journalist stated.

She was particularly impressed by the “Made in Uzbekistan” exhibition, public festivities, the crafts fair, the international conference and masterclasses on traditional crafts.

Nana Balle separately highlighted the centuries-old traditions of textile manufacturing and crafts in the Fergana Valley, distinct identity of national fabrics and their combination with contemporary design solutions.

Journalist also noted that she plans to prepare a special coverage following her trip. In it, she intends to highlight the rich traditions of Uzbek craftsmanship and design, which she believes will resonate with her audience.
