LONDON, September 23. /Dunyo IA/. A meeting was held at the Embassy of Uzbekistan with Ruslan Ugrelidze, a representative of the law firm “Lawlex Solicitors”, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Established in London in 2020, “Lawlex Solicitors” provides a wide range of legal services across England and Wales. The company's core practice areas include civil and commercial litigation, dispute resolution, international arbitration, employment, immigration, family law and other fields of legal practice.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the preparations for the English Law Forum, scheduled to be held in Tashkent on September 29^th of this year, in cooperation with the Chamber of Lawyers of Uzbekistan and “Lawlex Solicitors”.

Primary objective of the forum is to present the distinctive characteristics and core principles of English law, facilitate the exchange of experience between lawyers from Uzbekistan and the United Kingdom and discuss promising avenues of cooperation in the fields of law and international legal practice.

Within the framework of the event, a delegation comprising representatives of leading British law firms and barristers' chambers, such as “Quadrant Chambers”, “Goldsmith Chambers”, “Thomas More Chambers” and “Outer Temple Chambers”, is expected to visit Uzbekistan.

Delegation will include barristers, solicitors, and other representatives of the legal community who possess extensive professional experience in international dispute resolution, international arbitration, litigation, and related areas of legal practice.

Forum will serve as a vital platform for dialogue between the representatives of the legal communities of the two countries to discuss topical issues of law enforcement practice, international cooperation, and the development of legal infrastructure, as well as to exchange professional experience and practical approaches.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to consistently pursue cooperation with “Lawlex Solicitors”, including the establishment of regular contacts to organize joint events in London.
