ASHGABAT, July 9. /Dunyo IA/.  During the official visit of the President of Uzbekista Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to Belarus, the sides are expected to discuss new economic projects and sign a comprehensive package of bilateral agreements, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

As noted by the Turkmen news agency “News Central Asia”, industrial cooperation remains one of the primary pillars of bilateral engagement. Active joint ventures include the production of “AGROMAX TECHNIC” tractors in Nurafshan in partnership with the Minsk Tractor Works, manufacturing of high-voltage cables within the Akhangaran Copper Cluster and the “UzShoes” enterprise in Karshi.

Visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Belarus on July 8–9^th could provide a new impetus for joint projects,' the agency projects. 'At the close of 2025, trade turnover between the two countries reached 965 million dollars. Today, approximately 260 enterprises with Belarusian capital participation operate within Uzbekistan.
