Pakistan Media: Uzbekistan and Georgia strengthen Eurasia’s Transport Connectivity

ISLAMABAD, July 2. /Dunyo IA/. Pakistani state news agency, “Associated Press of Pakistan”, has published an article highlighting the pivotal role of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Georgia in advancing Eurasia’s transport and logistics connectivity, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
Article emphasizes that Georgia serves as a “maritime gateway” for Uzbekistan to European markets through Black Sea ports, while Uzbekistan reciprocally provides access to Central and South Asian markets.
Publication places particular emphasis on the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route and the corresponding growth in cargo volumes; according to the agency, Uzbekistan's transit cargo via this corridor doubled, reaching 1.2 million tons. A substantial increase was also recorded in rail transport between the two nations, where indicators rose by more than 50 percent.
Furthermore, it is noted that the article by the “Associated Press of Pakistan” was subsequently republished by the “Daily Independent” and “The World News”.
