Uzbekistan plans to increase its food exports to USD 10 billion by 2030

MOSCOW, May 21. /Dunyo IA/. Uzbekistan plans to increase its food exports to $10 billion and expand its geographical reach to 100 new countries by 2030, reports Dunyo IA correspondent, citing with reference to the Russian information and analytical publication “Rhythm of Eurasia”.

It is noted that this target will be achievable through the creation of a unified Food Safety Committee and the implementation of a digital control system spanning “from field to table”.

It is also reported that, on the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyeva, a unified body responsible for food safety at all stages - from production to delivery to the final consumer - will be established on the basis of the sanitary-epidemiological, veterinary, and plant quarantine services.

As part of the reform, a single automated information platform integrated with the “single window” system is being introduced. This will significantly accelerate control procedures, reducing processing times from 9 to 2 days for imports and from 3 to 1 day for exports.

It is indicated that the digitalization of processes and reduction of administrative barriers will allow entrepreneurs to save approximately 70 billion soums in warehousing costs.

According to available data, Uzbekistan's food export volume reached approximately USD 4.5 billion in 2025.
