Leading Belarusian Media highlight the strengthening of the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Belarus

Belarusian media are actively covering the official visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to Belarus, highlighting the dynamic development of the bilateral strategic partnership, the expansion of economic cooperation and the strengthening of humanitarian ties between the two countries, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
Significant attention from the Belarusian media was dedicated to the 3rd Forum of Regions of Belarus and Uzbekistan, held in Minsk on July 6–8. Leading publications such as “SB. Belarus Today”, “Minsk-News” and the portal of the CIS Executive Committee note that the event has become a vital platform for transitioning from established agreements to the implementation of concrete joint projects. The publications emphasize that the core areas of discussion encompassed industrial cooperation, the agro-industrial complex, trade, logistics, medicine, tourism and humanitarian collaboration.
Belarusian Telegraph Agency “BelTA”, the internet portal of the CIS Executive Committee, and other news resources are also covering the development of industrial cooperation between the two countries. The publications highlight the role of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, as well as joint projects in mechanical engineering, agricultural machinery manufacturing, and other sectors. Highlighted examples include the establishment of an agricultural machinery production facility in Nurafshon in partnership with the Minsk Tractor Works, alongside initiatives in cable manufacturing and other industrial fields.
