Egyptian media highlights Uzbekistan’s initiatives presented at the Asian Development Bank Annual Meeting in Samarkand

Leading Egyptian media outlets have widely covered the initiatives of the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, put forward during the 59th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Development Bank held in Samarkand, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
In particular, publications such as “Al-Ahram Gate”, “Rosa El-Youssef”, “Dar El-Hilal”, “Al Diplomasy”, “Al Diplomasy” (English edition) and “Sada Elbalad English” published articles dedicated to the key initiatives of the Head of Uzbekistan.
Egyptian media highlighted the proposals of the President of Uzbekistan regarding the implementation of digital technologies and artificial intelligence, development of renewable energy sources, the strengthening of transport and logistics connectivity in Central Asia, the expansion of cooperation in the field of critical minerals, as well as the promotion of the “green” agenda and sustainable development of the region.
Special attention in the publications is paid to the initiative to create a special program under the auspices of the Asian Development Bank to scale artificial intelligence in developing countries, as well as the proposal to establish a regional coordination center for the “Digital Path for Asia initiative in Tashkent.
Furthermore, the media emphasized the importance of the Uzbek side's proposals on developing green energy, establishing a digital customs and logistics alliance within CAREC, implementing the “China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan” railway project, as well as forming sustainable supply chains for strategic minerals and developing high-tech raw material processing.
The publications also noted that the initiatives of the President of Uzbekistan are aimed at strengthening regional cooperation, accelerating digital transformation and ensuring sustainable economic growth in Asian countries.
