International conference dedicated to 35th Anniversary of Independent Uzbekistan to be held in Tashkent on August 14th

TASHKENT, August 12. /Dunyo IA/. On August 14th, an International scientific and practical conference on the topic “Independent Uzbekistan – 35 Years of Development Path: Reforms, Results and Prospects” will be held in Tashkent.
Event is organized by the Legislative Chamber and the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan, Ministry of Justice, Institute of Legislation and Policy Studies and Center of Islamic Civilization.
Members of national and foreign parliaments, representatives of state bodies, international organizations, scientific and expert circles will participate in the conference.
Participants will focus on the results of the 35-year path of independent development of Uzbekistan, the substance and significance of the constitutional reform, the development of parliamentarism, the improvement of national legislation, economic transformation, development of human capital and environmental sustainability issues.
Representatives of the parliaments of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Türkiye, as well as the UN, the Asian Development Bank, UNICEF and the European Union, are invited to the conference.
Program of the conference includes a plenary session and the work of three thematic sections. Following the discussions, it is planned to develop proposals and recommendations on further priority areas of development, taking into account international experience.
Following the conference, the Tashkent Declaration is expected to be adopted, aimed at further developing interparliamentary cooperation, expanding the exchange of legislative experience and promoting joint initiatives.
