COPENHAGEN, August 12. /Dunyo IA/.  At the initiative of the diplomats of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Stockholm, an online meeting was held with Director of the Department for European Neighbourhood of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark Peter Lassen and Deputy Director of the Confederation of Danish Industry Jens Holst-Nielsen, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the meeting, parties discussed issues of further developing trade, economic, investment, and technological cooperation between Uzbekistan and Denmark, expanding direct contacts between business circles and intensifying dialogue between representatives of the private sector.

Particular attention was paid to the prospects of attracting high-tech and innovative Danish companies into key sectors of Uzbekistan's economy, including the mining industry, energy efficiency, chemical industry, fish farming, animal husbandry and agriculture.

Following the meeting, parties agreed to organize an exchange of business delegations between the two countries.
