LISBON, April 9. /Dunyo IA/. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, and Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Senator of Pakistan Mohammad Ishaq Dar discussed the evolving situation in the region during a telephone conversation, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
“Had a phone conversation with H.E. Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Senator of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, - the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. - Reiterated that Uzbekistan commends Pakistan’s leadership and conveyed our full support for initiatives undertaken by Islamabad in pursuit of peace and stability, including efforts aimed at securing the initial two-week ceasefire.
Expressed hope that continued diplomatic engagement and constructive efforts will contribute to lasting peace and stability in the region and beyond”.
